Pipe bridge and high integrity pipelines

HEES have recently designed and installed 19 PTFE lined carbon steel pipelines together with an 8 metre tall support structure.

The collection of 63, 50 & 40 mm nominal bore high integrity pipelines transport chemicals some 22 metres across a roadway and a roof to enable the linking of process buildings and storage tanks at Vale (Europe) Limited. 

Each end of the line terminates with an isolation valve and those serving the tank farm have low level drain points

Membrane Contactor Installation

HEES completes the installation of Membrane Contactors on a Purified Water Generation System for CO2 removal. 

The installation involved the install of the unit themselves along with associated stainless steel pipework, with all welding being carried out using orbital welding and fully certified.

NaOH dosing had been used to control the CO2 previously, but replacement with this state of the art technology membrane degasfication, improving the client system with chemicals no longer required.

AHU Power and Controls Upgrades

HEES have carried out over the last 24 Months, multiple AHU Power and controls upgrades, for a Pharmaceutical manufacturing plants Process Area AHUs.

 The work involved the installation of control panels, variable speed drives and instrumentation along with all power and controls cabling.

This work had to be carried out with close liason with the end client and Controls specialist, to enable work to be completed within both pre shutdown and shutdown program periods.

800amp UPS System Installation

HEES complete within tight shutdown program the installation of equipment and cabling for a new 800amp Critical Systems UPS system equipment and cabling.

Completed On Time & To Budget

Hygienic & Environmental Engineering, as main contractor, designed, installed and commissioned one of the largest cooling water loops at a premier Biotech site in the UK.

The 800 metre, flow and return loop, consisted of a combination of 2.5,3,4,6,8 & 10 inch 316L Stainless Steel pipework taken over a light weight flat roof to avoid plant room congestion.

The system was commissioned to optimize & reduce WFI sub loop cooling times in order to support the ambitious site expansion plans.
